As an artist Bernadette Anzengruber works in the fields of photography, object, text, performance and video. Her artistic practice is located at the intersection of visual arts, design and cultural theory and strongly driven by queer-feminist theory/practice. Her interests are the corporality of language (materialised poetry), the erotic of commodities, intimacy and medialised identitiy as well as the desires and power structures that come along with these topics. As a feminist activist she advocates for equity from an intersectional perspective and with a focus on the entanglement of body positivity, sexual freedom, reproduction, financial independency and prevention of violence.
