elena blum

Elena Blum is a cultural worker, writer, and art historian based in Vienna. Her practice centers on contemporary infrastructures, public spheres, and their interdependencies. Through her texts and works, she explores the production and presentation of art within political contexts, emphasizing social processes and practices of resistance.

 

She is currently working as editor and project manager of dwhX at the art association DAS WEISSE HAUS in Vienna. She previously worked on the project "Recht auf Museum? An Austrian Study on Museum Concepts of the Public and Their Perception" (University of Vienna) and led the "Writing Room" workshop series at DAS WEISSE HAUS.

 

Elena Blum is studying Critical Studies at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and Expanded Museum Studies at the University of Applied Arts Vienna.
