Kati Renner is an art historian and curator. Her research focuses on the broad history of 19th-century art to Modern art, with an emphasis on cultural-historical connections, artist networks, and
transnational exchange processes. She recently completed her PhD with a monograph about the artist Otto Hettner (1875-1931) at the Technische Universität Dresden, Germany.
Her professional career includes various museums such as working as curatorial assistant at Berlinische Galerie, Berlin, followed by a position as project assistant for the exhibition project
"Karl Marx and Capitalism" (2022) at Deutsches Historisches Museum, Berlin, and afterwards for the project "Secessions. Klimt, Stuck, Liebermann" (2023) at Alte Nationalgalerie, Berlin, in
cooperation with Wien Museum, Vienna. She currently works as an assistant curator for the collection of the 18th and 19th century at the Belvedere, Vienna.
